Alpha National We are seeking an experienced and reliable Painter to join our team in a full-time FIFO position working a 2:1 roster. The successful applicant will be responsible for carrying out painting and decorating work across our project sites, ensuring all work is completed safely and to a high professional standard.

Key Duties Preparing surfaces by removing old paint and wallpaper, repairing and filling cracks and holes, and cleaning surfaces Applying paints, varnishes, stains and other finishes using brushes, rollers and spray equipment Mixing and matching paints to achieve required colours and finishes Applying primers, sealers and protective coatings Erecting and working from ladders, scaffolding and other access equipment where required Ensuring completed work meets required quality standards and specifications Maintaining tools and equipment Following workplace health and safety procedures at all times Working effectively both independently and as part of a team Skills & Experience To be considered for this position, applicants should have: Relevant trade qualification in painting desired  Minimum 1 year experience working as a Painter Strong knowledge of surface preparation and painting techniques Ability to work safely and efficiently in a FIFO environment
