About the role
Velocity Legal is looking for a high-performing law student to join our Commercial Law Team.
You will work closely with three experienced Directors, contribute to live commercial matters and learn how a busy commercial practice operates from instruction through to completion.

The RolePart-time position (two days per week) based in our Melbourne CBD office.
This role involves:
supporting client onboarding and anti-money laundering compliance;
assisting the legal team with a wide range of administrative tasks;
conducting legal research and preparing preliminary drafts of documents; and
supporting the team across a broad range of commercial matters and transactions.
You will learn the discipline behind high-quality commercial legal work. As you build capability and earn trust, we will give you greater responsibility.
RequirementsThe requirements for this role are:
currently studying law at university;
2+ years remaining before your graduation;
an average of at least 70% across your law subjects; and
a professional and dependable approach to your work.
