About the Opportunity

Based in Henderson the Graphic and 3D Designer will be responsible for developing high-quality visual communications that support Austal’s business development, sales, marketing, and brand objectives. The role combines advanced graphic design capability with 3d visualisation expertise to create compelling marketing content, proposals, presentations, vessel renderings, and digital assets.

What’s Involved

• Design and produce high-quality marketing collateral including brochures, advertisements, technical documents and digital content
• Develop visually engaging materials that communicate products, services, and strategic capabilities
• Ensure all outputs align with corporate branding and visual identity standards
• Create professional proposal and tender documentation, including layouts, graphics, and presentations
• Enhance bid submissions through clear, visually compelling content to improve engagement and readability
• Develop photorealistic 3D renderings of vessels, equipment and maritime environments
• Manage multiple design projects, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timely delivery
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to deliver effective visual communication solutions

You’ll Need

• Advanced diploma or degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, 3D Design, Digital Media or related discipline
• A curated portfolio showcasing professional graphic design work, visual communications and 3D modelling and rendering
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong understanding of typography, layout design, colour theory and brand management
• Experience creating professional marketing and business development collateral
• Minimum 2+years professional experience in graphic or 3D design or a similar role.
