About the role

47 Gypsum PTY LTD is seeking an experienced MR Truck Driver to join our transport team on a full-time or casual basis. This is a crucial position within our logistics operations, responsible for the safe and efficient delivery of plasterboard across our service areas. Based in Wingfield SA 5013, you will be the face of our company on the road, ensuring that every delivery meets our high standards of professionalism and reliability. This role is integral to maintaining our reputation and supporting the smooth operation of our supply chain.

What you'll be doing

• Operating a Medium Rigid (MR) truck safely and professionally in accordance with all road transport regulations and company policies

• Planning and executing delivery routes efficiently to meet scheduled timeframes and customer expectations

• Conducting pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure the truck is in safe working condition

• Loading, securing and unloading cargo appropriately, ensuring goods are protected during transport

• Maintaining accurate logbooks and documentation, including delivery dockets and fuel records

• Communicating professionally with customers, dispatchers and warehouse staff

• Adhering to all traffic laws, weight restrictions and workplace health and safety requirements

• Performing routine vehicle maintenance tasks and reporting any mechanical issues to management

• Contributing to a positive and safety-conscious workplace culture

What we're looking for

• Valid MR Truck Driver's Licence with a clean driving record

• Knowledge of safe work practices, load securing and vehicle maintenance

• Excellent time management and route planning abilities

• Strong communication skills

• Ability to work independently and respond well to instruction

• Reliable, punctual and professional attitude towards work
