Experienced Pavement Final Trim Grader Operator

About Us

Bear Claw, a leading civil and concreting contractor based in Darwin, is seeking experienced Grader and Excavator / All Rounder Operators for ongoing works in Darwin / RAAF Base Tindal, Katherine NT.

Our work spans Australian Defence, NT Government and major commercial projects throughout the Northern Territory. Having grown significantly over recent years, our success is built around our people, strong project delivery and commitment to providing a high standard of service to our clients.

Requirements

Successful applicants will ideally have:

• Minimum 3 years' experience operating graders and/or excavators within civil construction, earthworks or similar environments.

• Grader Operators: Proven experience with high-tolerance pavement and final trim works.

• Excavator Operators: Proven GPS trimming and final trim experience.

• Experience using Trimble GPS/UTS systems.

• Current Construction White Card.

• Relevant nationally recognised plant operator tickets/competencies.

• Current unrestricted Driver Licence.

• Strong understanding of levels, tolerances and civil construction requirements.

• Strong safety awareness and attention to detail.

• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

• Flexibility to operate other plant and equipment where competent and required.

• Ability to pass a pre-employment Drug & Alcohol Screen and obtain a National Police Check.

Roster & Location

• 3:1 FIFO roster

• RAAF Base Tindal – Katherine, Northern Territory

• FIFO from major domestic airports only.
