OHS Site Coordinator

Following several major project wins, we are expanding our team and looking for experienced, high-quality OHS Site Coordinator for a Affordable Housing compliant project in Dandenong. We offer stable, long-term opportunities within a well-respected company.

About the Role:
This is a hands-on, site-based position suited to a safety professional who thrives in a fast-paced construction environment. Working closely with site management, you will play a critical role in maintaining compliance, driving best practice, and supporting a strong safety culture.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver site inductions and ensure all visitors, staff, and subcontractors are briefed appropriately.

• Verify all on-site workers have required tickets, licenses, and competencies.

• Review and approve subcontractor SWMS using Hammertech.

• Assist in the planning and approval of high-risk activities.

• Conduct mandatory safety inspections and audits as outlined in our Business & Project Health, Safety & Environmental Quality Management Plan.

• Promote the effective use of Hammertech across site staff and subcontractors.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven experience coordinating OHS requirements across commercial, government, and federally funded construction projects.

• Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety & Diploma of Work Health and Safety (BSB51319) (mandatory)

• White Card (mandatory).

• Must have experience using Hammertech for safety management (mandatory)

• Current Level 2 First Aid & CPR.  

• 5+ years of hands-on experience on commercial construction sites.

• 4+ years of experience in OHS coordination on active HIGH-RISE construction sites.

• Strong working knowledge of current OHS legislation and practices.

• Highly competent in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and iPad use.

• Strong administrative skills with a proven ability to manage tasks and ensure timely follow-up.

• Available to work Saturdays.

• Strong communicator who works well in a team and follows direction.
