d'Albora, Australia's largest Marina Group, is offering an exciting opportunity for the role of Shipyard General Hand at Gold Coast City Marina & Boatyard (GCCM).

Located in a prime position on Queensland’s spectacular Gold Coast, GCCM is Australia’s most comprehensive and award‑winning shipyard facility. With more than 90 leading marine businesses on site, the precinct delivers unmatched convenience, competitive solutions, and consistently high‑quality workmanship.

This is your chance to join an enthusiastic team in a fast-paced marine service environment with extensive training provided to advance your skills in all aspects of yard operations and associated waterfront activities.

Reporting to the Operations & Facilities Manager, your key tasks will consist of but not limited to:

• Operate the Travelift, forklift, trailer and lifting equipment.

• Prepare vessels for lifting, set-down and storage.

• Position and stabilise vessels safely.

• Wash vessels and maintain shipyard areas.

• Inspect plant, equipment and vessel access systems.

• Assist customers with access, power, water and hire equipment.

• Support the drystore, marina and facilities teams as required, contributing to the broader team’s operations.

The ideal person we seek would have:

• Experience in a shipyard environment.

• Experience with vessel lifting and hardstand operations.

• Sound knowledge of safe shipyard practices.

• Current Driver, Boat and Forklift licences.

• Strong teamwork, judgement and organisational skills.
