Chefs de Partie & Sous Chef – Jetty Bar & Eats, Fremantle

Jetty Bar & Eats is looking for passionate, qualified chefs to join our kitchen team in Fremantle – from experienced Chefs de Partie through to Sous Chef level.

Located on the beautiful Swan River, Jetty Bar & Eats has established itself as a much-loved hospitality venue, delivering a fun, relaxed drinking and dining experience with picture-perfect river views.

Inspired by the Mediterranean coastline, our menu focuses on fresh, seasonal produce and is delivered by a motivated kitchen team that takes pride in quality food, consistency and great service.

We currently trade 5 days a week, Wednesday to Sunday, and will be moving to 7-day trading from 1 November, making this an exciting time to join our team ahead of a busy summer season.

What we are looking for…

Chef de Partie – Casual & Full Time

We are looking for experienced and qualified chefs who are passionate about food and enjoy working in a busy, hands-on kitchen environment.

You will need to:

• Have relevant qualifications and/or proven experience in a professional kitchen

• Be confident working across different sections of the kitchen

• Have a genuine passion for food and quality produce

• Be organized, reliable and able to work well under pressure

• Take pride in maintaining high standards of food quality, presentation and consistency

• Maintain excellent hygiene and cleanliness standards

• Be a positive team player with a great attitude

• Be available to work across weekends, busy periods and public holidays

Sous Chef

This is a hands-on role for an experienced chef who is ready to take the next step or an established Sous Chef looking for a great venue to call home.

Working closely with our Head Chef, you will play an important role in the day-to-day running of the kitchen and the development of our team.

You will:

• Take a hands-on leadership role during service

• Support the Head Chef with the recruitment, training, development and mentorship of the kitchen team

• Help oversee day-to-day kitchen operations

• Lead by example and maintain high standards throughout the kitchen

• Assist with ordering, stock control and kitchen organization

• Contribute to menu development, including dish ideas and creation

• Help foster and maintain a healthy, positive and supportive kitchen culture

• Ensure exceptional standards of food quality, hygiene and cleanliness are maintained
