Joining the firm means working in a supportive environment that values client service, collaboration, and continuous improvement.Role Description The Solicitor will handle a range of client matters, preparing and reviewing legal documents, providing advice, and representing clients in negotiations and, where required, in court or tribunal proceedings. Day-to-day responsibilities include managing files, conducting legal research, drafting correspondence and contracts, and liaising with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders to progress matters efficiently. The role also involves maintaining accurate records, ensuring compliance with relevant legislation and professional standards, and contributing to the development of firm procedures and best practices. This is a hybrid role based in Sydney, NSW, with work split between the office and approved work-from-home arrangements.QualificationsStrong foundation in Law, with admission as a Solicitor in NSW and a current practising certificate.Experience in Conveyancing and Commercial Real Estate matters, including property transactions and related documentation.Knowledge of Labor and Employment Law, with the ability to advise on workplace rights, contracts, and dispute resolution.Background in Criminal, Family Law, including parenting, property, and related family dispute matters.Excellent legal research, drafting, and analytical skills, with a high level of attention to detail.Strong client communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines.Proficiency with common legal practice management and document management software.Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment; prior experience in a private practice setting is advantageous.
