Auto Electrician

We're on the lookout for a qualified Auto Electrician to work on our fleet of over 400 vehicles and 600 Heavy Earth moving machinery.

The role involves Field Service Brisbane, Ipswich and Gold Coast regions as well as working alongside the workshop team, with full access to diagnostic information and product knowledge specialists.

We offer on-going training and development opportunities for you to upskill to align with the evolving industry. 

This is a full-time permanent position, working hours will be Monday – Thursday from 06:30am to 5:00pm, Fridays from 06:30am to 4:00pm and Saturdays 06:00am to 12:00pm (as required). 
 
As part of your role your key responsibilities will be:

• Carry-out Auto Electrical diagnostics and repairs on heavy earthmoving equipment CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, Highway Trucks Kenworth, Volvo, Iveco and light vehicles Toyota and Isuzu.
• Air conditioning diagnostics and repairs

 About You:

• Trade qualification Auto Electrical (Australian recognised)
• A minimum of 12 months’ post trade experience
• Air Conditioning licence (Current)
• Basic electrical aptitude and mobile equipment experience
• Demonstrated ability to work unsupervised in a fast-paced team environment
• Sound computer skills (CAT E.T. Experience advantageous)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Possess a strong initiative in problem solving and decision-making skills
• Strong commitment to working at a high standard with emphasis on quality workmanship & work ethics
• Current Manual Driver's License
• Committed to workplace health & safety
• Reliable, self-motivated with good time management skills

 The following desired but not essential: 

• HR or HC License an advantage
• Experience in Heavy earthmoving equipment
• Forklift Licence
• Working at Heights
