As part of the 121 Targeted Marketing team for Dan Murphy’s, you will play a key role in driving customer engagement, retention, and lifetime value through highly personalized, data-driven communications.

Provide hands-on execution for major and tactical targeted campaigns across 121 channels, mapping multi-phase audience journeys from initial digital touchpoints through to in-store or online purchases. Blending data analysis, current customer trends, and an active experimentation program, this role tests creative, offers, and propositions to continuously optimise campaign performance and future capabilities.

Success requires an organised, detail-oriented professional who thrives under pressure and can effectively collaborate across key stakeholders including Brand Marketing, Data & AI, MarTech, Merchandise, eCommerce, and creative agency partners to drive impactful customer connections.

Here is a taster of what you can expect in this role:

• End-to-end management, setup, and execution of personalized 121 direct marketing campaigns across EDM, SMS, direct mail, app, and digital channels.
• Deliver tailored lifecycle, trigger, and automated programs designed to increase member engagement, retention, and average order value.
• Utilise customer insights and segmentation models to build precise audience target lists using campaign management tools.
• Plan, implement, and analyze A/B and multivariate testing to optimise open rates, CTRs, conversion, and ROI.
• Partner closely with Merchandising, Digital, Analytics, and Brand teams to align campaign offers with wider commercial and trade priorities.
• Track campaign performance against KPIs, post-campaign analysis, and translate data into actionable insights for future programs.

Qualifications

Now let’s talk about you: ​​​​​​​

• 3-5 years CRM/Digital/Direct Marketing experience working in teams executing dynamic content, lifecycle and trigger programs through email and other 121 communication channels.
• Experience in building multi-channel campaigns/journeys in a marketing automation platform
• Collaborative and empathetic, with a strong ability to work within the team to identify needs and balance their individual delivery to meet those needs.
• Strong stakeholder management skills.
• Campaign strategy and planning capability to deliver in a fast paced agile working environment.
• Deliver to high standards, drive innovation and create value autonomously, while living our culture and values.
• Experience with 1:1/digital campaign metrics such as opens, clicks, attributed/incremental revenue, target vs control measurement, conversion rate to understand what is/isn't working.
• Proven experience supporting different test methodologies, combined with a strong data-driven approach to marketing communications.
