As our business continues to grow, we are looking for a Logistics Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you'll play an important part in supporting the delivery of laboratory automation products that help advance healthcare and positively impact communities worldwide.
What you’ll do:
Pick, label, pack, wrap, and ship orders with our range of products.
Perform ERP (Oracle) data entry for shipments.
Create and review shipping documents for domestic and international shipments.
Identify ERP transaction issues, perform basic troubleshooting, and work with internal support teams to resolve system-related issues.
Book freight into provider portals.
Liaise with freight forwarders via email.
Obtain freight quotes and assist with shipment coordination.
Load and unload shipments.
Practice cost-effective shipping methods to meet customer expectations.
Support urgent shipments and coordinate with the Customer Solutions Group.
Participate in cycle counts and stocktakes.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
Back-up for incoming goods receipt.
Work closely with other Warehouse and Logistics team members.
Provide support for various logistics tasks as needed.
Follow company quality procedures and support compliance with ISO 13485 requirements.
Identify and report non-conforming materials in accordance with established procedures.
Identify opportunities to improve logistics, warehouse, and inventory processes.
Maintain a safe and organized warehouse environment and comply with all workplace health and safety requirements.
What success in this role looks like:
Ensuring customer orders are shipped accurately and on time.
Maintaining high levels of inventory accuracy.
Supporting efficient inbound and outbound logistics operations.
Building positive relationships with internal teams and logistics providers.
Contributing to a safe, compliant, and well-organized warehouse.
What you’ll bring:
A strong interest in building a career in the logistics/warehouse industry.
Strong organisational and time-management skills.
Competent computer skills, with MS Office proficiency viewed favourably.
Customer focus and deadline-driven principles
Previous experience in a logistics (and warehouse) setting is preferred, but a motivated candidate with a strong work ethic and readiness to learn will be considered.
Experience with ERP systems and logistics is an advantage, training will be provided to develop these skills further.
Experience with freight carriers such as DHL, FedEx, UPS, or freight forwarders is advantageous.
A forklift license or willingness to obtain through provided course.
Demonstrated teamwork and strong problem-solving abilities.
Effective communication skills for interacting with team members and other stakeholders.
High attention to detail and a proactive, results-driven approach.
Ability to lift and move products safely in a warehouse environment.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
