Medical Receptionist

About the role

We are seeking a friendly Medical Receptionist to join our team at Darwin Eye Surgeons in Tiwi NT 0810. In this position, where you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to our patients and medical staff.

What you'll be doing

• Greeting and welcoming patients to the practice in a friendly and professional manner

• Scheduling and managing patient appointments

• Handling patient inquiries and booking procedures

• Maintaining accurate patient records and medical files

• Assisting with general administrative duties, including invoicing and data entry

• Providing support to the clinical team as required

What we're looking for

• Previous experience as a medical receptionist or in a similar customer service role preferred

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with patients, clinicians, and colleagues in a professional and empathetic manner

• Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively

• Proficiency in using medical practice management software preferred (training will be provided)

• Should be available to work on Monday - Friday full time
