Cafe/ Restaurant Manager

About the role

As our Cafe Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our busy cafe, ensuring exceptional customer service and drive profitability. This is a full-time role based in our Kardinya location.

Key responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of cafe operations, including staff scheduling, inventory management, and financial reporting

• Provide exceptional customer service and ensure a welcoming atmosphere for all customers

• Lead, train, and motivate a team of passionate baristas and cafe staff

• Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement strategies to drive efficiency and profitability

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and food hygiene regulations

• Collaborate with the regional team to develop and implement marketing initiatives to promote the cafe

About you

• Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar cafe management role

• Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team

• Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities

• Proficient in cash handling, inventory management, and financial reporting

• Understanding of food safety and health and safety regulations in the hospitality industry

• Passion for the coffee and cafe industry, with a keen eye for detail and presentation
