About the role

We are seeking a talented and passionate Casual Chef to join our team at the Robin Hood Hotel in Norwood SA 5067. As a Casual Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality meals in a fast-paced environment. This is a casual position, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team of culinary professionals.

What you'll be doing

• Preparing and cooking a variety of dishes in a timely and efficient manner

• Ensuring all food items are fresh, properly stored and handled according to health and safety guidelines

• Collaborating with the kitchen team to maintain high standards of quality and presentation

• Adhering to portion control and controlling food costs

• Assisting with menu planning and development as needed

• Maintaining a clean and organised work environment

What we're looking for

• Proven experience as a chef or cook in a similar fast-paced hospitality environment

• Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices

• Excellent time management and multitasking skills

• Ability to work well in a team and under pressure

• Creativity and a passion for creating delicious, high-quality meals

• Relevant qualifications or certifications in hospitality or culinary arts
