3 Fixed-Term Full-Time positions (12 months)Salary Classification: Registrar Year 1-4Remuneration: Based on PGY and superannuation + salary packaging options designed to reduce your taxable income!It is anticipated that interviews for this role will be held on Wednesday 9th September 2026
About The Role
We are looking to recruit an Unaccredited Registrar to join our Radiation Oncology Team.
Calvary Mater Newcastle’s Department of Radiation Oncology is NSW’s largest regional specialist radiation therapy centre, providing comprehensive cancer care to our patients.
Your main duties will include:
Provide medical support for radiotherapy patientsLiaise with treatment and planning areas to ensure appropriate, expeditious inpatient and outpatient booking and treatmentParticipate in clinical duties as arranged by the Director of Radiation Oncology

About You
Relevant primary undergraduate degree and current registration with the Medical Board of AustraliaAt least 2 years postgraduate Australian hospital experienceCommitment to entering the RANZCR (Radiation Oncology) training programAble to make sound clinical decisions in accordance with level of experience and awareness of limitationsDemonstrated ability to work as part of multi-disciplinary team
