Permanent Part-Time – 30.5 hours per week
Monday to Friday | No weekend rostered hours
All Types of Care Queensland is a locally owned and operated disability support provider delivering services across Rockhampton and the Capricorn Coast.
As our organisation continues to grow, we are looking for an organised and reliable Rostering & Scheduling Clerk to join our office team.
This is a great opportunity for someone looking to build a career in administration, rostering or the disability/community services sector.
Previous NDIS rostering experience is not essential. We are looking for the right person with strong organisation, communication and computer skills who is willing to learn.
About the RoleWorking as part of our office team, you will assist with the day-to-day and forward scheduling of our disability support workforce.
You will work closely with our Service Delivery team to help ensure shifts are filled, roster changes are communicated and participants have the appropriate staffing in place.
Your responsibilities will include:
Maintaining and updating staff rosters
Filling available and upcoming shifts
Contacting staff regarding shift availability
Processing roster changes, leave and staff availability
Communicating roster changes clearly to employees
Checking rosters for gaps, overlaps and scheduling conflicts
Assisting with forward roster planning
Maintaining accurate information within our rostering system
Monitoring upcoming staffing requirements
Escalating difficult-to-fill shifts or staffing concerns to management
Working with Service Delivery and Recruitment when additional workers may be required
Maintaining accurate records of roster changes and communications
General administration associated with workforce scheduling
You will receive support and training in ATCQ's rostering processes and systems.
Hours of WorkThis is a permanent part-time position working 30 paid hours per week.
Monday to Thursday: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm
Friday: 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
A 30-minute unpaid meal break applies each day.
Friday afternoon has an important focus on ensuring weekend rosters are prepared, known staffing gaps have been addressed and any outstanding issues are appropriately handed over.
About YouYou don't need to have worked as a disability-sector rosterer before.
We would like to hear from people with experience in areas such as administration, reception, scheduling, customer service, medical administration, logistics, workforce coordination or similar roles.
You will ideally have:
Strong organisation and time-management skills
Confidence using computers and learning new systems
Good attention to detail
Clear and professional telephone communication
The ability to manage multiple priorities
Confidence speaking with employees about shift availability
A calm approach when plans change unexpectedly
Good written communication skills
Reliability and punctuality
The ability to work as part of a busy office team
An understanding of confidentiality and professional boundaries
Experience with rostering software, Microsoft Office, NDIS services or disability/community services would be advantageous but is not essential.
What We're Looking ForRostering can change quickly, so we're looking for someone who doesn't become overwhelmed when a shift needs to be replaced or plans change.
You should be comfortable working through a problem, communicating with different people and knowing when something needs to be escalated rather than trying to solve everything yourself.
Most importantly, we're looking for someone who is reliable, organised, willing to learn and interested in growing with the organisation.
What We OfferPermanent part-time employment
Consistent Monday-to-Friday hours
No regularly rostered weekend work
Training and support
Opportunity to learn disability-sector rostering and workforce scheduling
Experience within a growing NDIS organisation
Opportunity for future development as your skills and experience grow
Please submit your résumé through SEEK along with a short cover letter telling us:
Why this position interests you;
Any administration, rostering, scheduling or customer-service experience you have; and
Why you believe you would be suited to working in a busy rostering environment.
We welcome applications from people looking to take the next step into rostering and workforce scheduling.
