Are you passionate about delivering exceptional customer service in a fast-paced hospitality environment?
Civeo is building a talent pipeline for future Guest Services Assistant and Senior Guest Services Assistant opportunities across our villages in the Bowen Basin region of Queensland. This is an Expression of Interest (EOI) talent pool designed to connect us with candidates interested in future vacancies as they become available.
Opportunities may arise across several village locations including Coppabella, Moranbah, Middlemount, Nebo, Dysart, Rosewood, Vitrinite and Waratah.
Please note: This is a talent pipeline advertisement and not for a specific current vacancy. Suitable applicants may be contacted regarding future opportunities that match their skills and experience. This pipeline will remain open for approximately three months, after which it will close and a new pipeline will be advertised. Candidates not progressed during the current campaign will be welcome to reapply to future pipeline advertisements.
About The Roles
Our Guest Services teams are the first point of contact for guests staying within our remote workforce accommodation villages. Whether working as a Guest Services Assistant or Senior Guest Services Assistant, you'll play a key role in creating a welcoming experience while supporting the day-to-day operation of village reception and accommodation services.
Depending on business requirements, opportunities may include a variety of rosters, including:
14 days on / 7 days off10 days on / 4 days off9 days on / 5 days off
Roster patterns and hours will vary depending on the site and position.
Key Responsibilities
Deliver exceptional customer service to guests and clientsProcess reservations, accommodation bookings and room allocationsComplete guest check-ins and check-outs efficiently and accuratelyRespond to guest enquiries and resolve issues professionallyMaintain accurate reservation, reporting and administrative recordsProcess retail transactions, EFTPOS payments and cash handling requirementsPrepare operational reports and complete general administration dutiesLiaise with housekeeping and maintenance teams regarding guest requestsMaintain a safe, professional and welcoming environmentFor Senior Guest Services opportunities, supervise and support Guest Services team members, assist with training and contribute to roster and operational coordination.
About You
We'd love to hear from candidates who have:
Previous guest services, front office, reservations or administration experienceStrong customer service and communication skillsExperience using accommodation management systems (RMS experience highly regarded)Good computer skills, including Microsoft OfficeStrong organisational and problem-solving abilitiesThe ability to work effectively in a busy, fast-paced environmentPrevious remote village, hospitality, accommodation, mining or resources sector experience (desirable)Leadership or supervisory experience (highly regarded for Senior Guest Services opportunities)Full Australian working rightsAbility to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screeningNational Police Clearance, or willingness to obtain one.
