Process Operator

Cambridge, TAS | 4-on-4-off roster | Day & Night Shifts

With a competitive salary starting on $95,000.00 , annual performance bonus, 5 weeks of annual leave, and a 4‑on‑4‑off roster (2 days, 2 nights, 24/7), this role offers both stability and flexibility.

This role is part of our production team, responsible for operating equipment, assessing product quality, and ensuring the mill runs efficiently with minimal downtime. You will play a key role in delivering high‑quality feed to our customers.

• Based at our Cambridge production mill, operating 24/7

• You will join one of four production teams

• Reporting directly to the Production Supervisor

• Operate mill equipment in line with operating and safety guidelines

• Perform troubleshooting, adjustments, and autonomous maintenance tasks

• Respond to mechanical faults, production breakdowns, and start‑ups

• Take ownership of safety, quality, and performance outcomes

Essential

• Strong experience in equipment operation or maintenance

• Forklift Licence (or willingness to obtain)

• Demonstrated high‑level safety behaviour

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Independence, maturity, and initiative

• Ability to prioritise workloads and adapt to changing priorities

• Recent Criminal History (Police) Check (valid within 12 months)

Desirable

• Mechanical or electrical trade experience

• FMCG or automation/control systems experience
