Electrical Trades Assistant – Underground Mains Experience

About the role

You will be working alongside qualified electricians on a variety of electrical projects, with a strong focus on underground mains and associated electrical infrastructure.

Key responsibilities

• Assisting electricians with underground mains installations

• Installation and preparation of underground conduits and cabling

• Cable hauling and pulling

• Excavation preparation and trench work

• Installation of pits, conduits and underground electrical infrastructure

• Assisting with mains upgrades and consumer mains installations

• General electrical trade assistant duties

• Loading, unloading and maintaining tools and materials

• Maintaining a clean and safe worksite

• Following all WHS procedures and site safety requirements

About you

• Previous experience as an Electrical Trades Assistant

• Experience working with underground electrical mains

• Experience with conduit installation and cable hauling

• A strong understanding of construction site safety

• White Card

• Current NSW driver's license

• Ability to work well within a team

• Strong work ethic and positive attitude

• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently

• Physically fit and capable of manual work
