About the Role

We are looking for a customer centric, dynamic and personable Sales & Customer Service Consultant to join our team in Jax Tyres & Auto St Marys. In this role, you will lead customers through an exceptional customer service experience, guiding them to the decision that best meets their wants and needs. You will work closely with your store manager, motor mechanics, tyre technicians and wheel aligners to deliver the best service to our valued customers, ensuring everyone leaves our store happy and with peace of mind driving.

Your main day-to-day tasks would include:

• Attending to customers and providing exceptional customer experience

• Motivating, encouraging and communicating with your team

• Building and maintaining positive relationships with customers

• Handling and processing payments

• Maintaining sales, receipts and stock records Store

• Utilise JAX inspect reports to guide and advise customers on maintenance, service and repairs.

• Assist the Store Manager with the operation of the store.

• Stay up to date with new products/services/promotions.

• Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing.

• Manage incoming and outgoing store phone calls.

About you

• Cert II Automotive Management (similar, equivalent or higher).

• Valid and current Australian Drivers Licence

• Excellent communication skills when dealing with customers and team members

• Enthusiastic attitude and strives to achieve KPIs

• Knowledge and interest in the automotive and tyre industry

• A minimum of 1-2 years of sales or customer service experience is required.
