Your New Role

As the House Supervisor, you will oversee the delivery of high-quality care and support for Myxa participants, ensuring compliance with organisational requirements and NDIS practice standards. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading and supporting a team of Disability Support Workers in a accommodation setting

• Managing daily operations of support services

• Collaborating with participants' care teams, including allied health professionals, to ensure care plans are met and services are delivered at the highest standard

• Regularly reviewing and updating participant documentation

• Inducting new support staff

• Conducting supervision sessions with support staff

• Addressing team conflicts and performance issues

• Participating in staff meetings, supervision, and training sessions

• Identifying, reporting, and following up on workplace health and safety matters

• Managing and reporting incidents

• Performing general administrative duties

What You’ll Need to Succeed

We seek a compassionate and reliable individual who is committed to making a difference in the lives of people with disabilities. You should have previous experience and a solid understanding of the NDIS, including its practice standards and participant support requirements.

Key Selection Criteria

• Relevant qualifications

• Experience in team support

• Strong understanding of the complex needs of individuals with disabilities

• Forensic Experience

• Knowledge and experience in delivering services according to NDIS Practice Standards

• Ability to work independently

• Excellent time management and task planning skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer applications

• Strong written and verbal communication skills

• Strong work ethic and initiative

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)

• Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

• First Aid/CPR certification

• Driver’s license
