About the role  

As part of our In-House Property Legal team, based on site at our Homebush West Corporate Office, you will support the company’s $4.2 billion global property portfolio.

Reporting to the Head of Legal – Property, you will handle a broad range of property legal matters, including retail, commercial and industrial leasing throughout Australia, and advising the business on a broad spectrum of property related issues.

This is Full Time Parental Relief Contract for up to 12 months.

About you  

You will be a qualified Australian lawyer with 3 years post admission experience, specialising in property law. You will have experience from a well-regarded property law firm or in-house legal role, and you will have an advanced knowledge of the Retail Leases Act across all states and territories.

You will also have: 

• A current unrestricted NSW practicing certificate (certificate must be free of condition 2).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Proficiency in LEAP software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work well in a team and autonomously.
• Proven problem-solving abilities and experience meeting tight deadlines.
• Highly organised and adaptable in fast-paced environments.
