About the Role

As a valued member of our team, you'll play an important role in supporting our cardiologists and ensuring our patients receive outstanding care from the moment they arrive.

Your responsibilities will include:

Cardiac Technician

• Performing ECGs, Holter Monitor, Event Monitor and Ambulatory Blood Pressure (ABPM) fittings and removals.

• Preparing and processing cardiac investigations for specialist review.

• Providing patients with clear instructions on the use and care of cardiac monitoring equipment.

• Uploading and managing cardiac monitoring data.

• Assisting with troubleshooting equipment and software when required.

• Maintaining equipment and ensuring infection control standards are upheld.

Medical Reception & Administration

• Greeting patients and delivering exceptional customer service.

• Scheduling specialist consultations and cardiac investigations.

• Managing patient registrations and maintaining accurate electronic medical records.

• Answering telephone enquiries and assisting patients with appointments.

• Processing referrals, specialist correspondence and medical documentation.

• Collecting patient payments and processing Medicare claims.

• Liaising with hospitals, referrers and other healthcare providers.

• Supporting the wider clinical and administration team with day-to-day operations.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Previous experience as a Cardiac Technician (highly regarded).

• Experience in medical reception or medical administration.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

• Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail.

• The ability to prioritise tasks and work efficiently in a busy environment.

• Strong computer skills and confidence learning new systems.

• A professional, compassionate and patient-focused approach.

• A positive attitude and willingness to contribute to a collaborative team culture.
