We are looking for an exceptional Aluminium Welder / Fabricator who has the technical skills, attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and creativity to transform ideas into high-quality aluminium products.

You’ll enjoy a varied role where you’ll work from drawings, fabricate new and customised aluminium products, and use your experience to overcome challenges and deliver excellent results.

We believe the best roles combine variety with consistency. In this position, you’ll have the opportunity to work on a wide range of aluminium fabrication projects while developing your welding and fabrication skills and building confidence in our processes.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Reading and interpreting fabrication drawings

• Measuring, cutting, preparing, and fabricating aluminium components

• TIG welding aluminium to a high standard

• MIG welding aluminium where required

• Producing clean, accurate, and visually appealing welds

• Fabricating new and customised aluminium products

• Problem-solving welding and fabrication challenges

• Maintaining high standards of accuracy, quality, and attention to detail

• Contributing ideas and improvements during team discussions

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A relevant Trade Certificate in Boilermaking, Fabrication, Welding, or a related trade

• Proven experience welding and fabricating aluminium

• Strong TIG welding skills and experience with aluminium

• MIG welding experience, preferably with aluminium

• The ability to read and interpret fabrication drawings

• Good understanding of aluminium preparation, fit-up, distortion, and welding techniques

• Strong attention to detail and pride in your workmanship

• The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a team

• A strong work ethic and reliable attitude

• A current driver’s licence or reliable transport to our Brendale workshop

Monday to Thursday: 5:30am – 2:00pm
Friday: 5:30am – 11:30am
