Experienced Female Disability Support Worker

At Next Level Independence, we are committed to providing exceptional, person-centred supports to individuals with complex needs. We are currently seeking a highly experienced Female Disability Support Worker who is passionate about making a genuine difference and committed to delivering the highest standard of care.

This is not an entry-level position. We are looking for someone who can confidently support participants with complex presentations while remaining calm, compassionate and professional in all situations.

About You:

You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the disability sector (highly desirable) and be confident supporting participants with:

• Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD)
• Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA)
• Oppositional Defiant Disorder (ODD)
• Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD)

You are committed to a long term position. You understand that behaviour is communication and have demonstrated experience recognising triggers, implementing proactive strategies, and creating calm, predictable and nurturing environments that promote emotional regulation, safety and independence.

You will be someone who:

• Demonstrates excellent emotional regulation and professionalism.
• Is confident working independently while contributing positively within a multidisciplinary team.
• Builds trusting, respectful relationships with participants, families and allied health professionals.
• Follows Positive Behaviour Support Plans and understands the importance of consistency and trauma-informed practice.
• Is reliable, adaptable and committed to delivering exceptional participant outcomes.

Essential Requirements:

• Current NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Working with Children Check
• National Police Check
• Current First Aid & CPR Certificate
• NDIS Worker Orientation Module Certificate
• Current Australian Driver Licence
• Reliable, comprehensively insured vehicle
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Pay: $36.00 – $52.00 per hour
