Sydney Grammar School is an independent non-denominational day school for boys. The secondary School (7-12) is located at College Street in the city of Sydney and the two preparatory Schools are located at Edgecliff (K-Year 6) and St Ives (Preschool-Year 6).

About the Role

An excellent temporary opportunity is available for a highly experienced Nurse to provide primary nursing care to pupils at our Edgecliff campus. This is a temporary part‑time position until May 2027.

This position will play a critical role in health promotion and primary prevention at the School. The responsibility of the role includes managing emergency presentations and providing first aid to pupils, staff, and visitors on the School premises and as required at School sport facilities.

Hours: Monday and Thursday (9:30am-3:30pm) and Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday (9am-3pm)

Commencement Date: 7th September 2026 until May 2027

Qualifications and experience

• A current Nursing Registration with AHPRA (RN or EN). 

• A comprehensive knowledge of nursing practice in the school environment.

• Strong organisational skills and knowledge of basic computer software in so much as performing administrative tasks, observing privacy and confidentiality.

• Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively liaise with all key stakeholders including pupils, parents, guardians, colleagues, and members of the community.
