Graduate Nurse & Midwife Program

We have 6 additional positions in our 2026 Graduate Nurse Program (job requisition #1874) and 3 additional positions in our 2026 Graduate Midwife Program (job requisition #1886). These positions will commence in September 2026 for completion in September 2027.

The Graduate Program for the Nurse/Midwife is designed to support graduate nurses and midwives in the clinical area and to provide opportunities for consolidation of theory and refinement of clinical skills. The program consists of clinical and theoretical components which include those areas defined as major practice requirements for beginning practitioners at GV Health. This position supports the transition of the new graduate Registered Nurse/Midwife to independent practice by supporting learning needs, enhancing clinical exposure, and setting professional practices that encourage lifelong learning. Our highly supported program offers many learning and development opportunities including:

• Regular debrief sessions with other Graduate Nurses and the education team
