Drainage Technician Offsider

Join our drainage team

Veolia is looking for reliable Drainage Technician Offsiders to join our growing team in Wangara 6065. You’ll work alongside experienced operators on drainage and water projects for Water Corporation, local councils and shires.

No drainage experience is needed. We’ll train you in CCTV pipe inspections and high pressure water jetting.

Monday to Friday, with overtime and occasional weekend work as required

What you will do

Working with an experienced technician, you’ll help to:

• Set up and pack up trucks, tools and equipment

• Assist with CCTV inspections of underground pipes

• Assist with high-pressure water-jetting work

• Clean and maintain equipment

• Work outdoors at different job sites

• Travel to regional areas when required

• Follow safe work procedures and wear the correct PPE

• Keep vehicles, equipment and work areas clean and tidy

• Work as part of a small, practical team

This is a physical, hands-on job. You’ll need to be comfortable working outdoors and around drains, water, mud, dirt, noise and changing weather conditions.

What you need

• Current manual driver’s licence

• Current White Card

• Willingness to learn and follow instructions

• Ability to work well with others

Desirable

• CCTV drainage experience

• High-pressure water-jetting experience
