About the role
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Psychologist's to join our Veterans Mental Health service. This role is ideal for clinician's who values flexibility, autonomy, and meaningful work supporting current and former Australian Defence Force personnel.
You will provide high‑quality, evidence‑based psychological services via tele-health from your home office, or in our office in Perth working one or two days per week with the option to increase days based on service needs and your availability.
Deliver psychological assessment, formulation, and treatment to veterans and their families.
Provide trauma‑informed, culturally sensitive, and recovery‑oriented care.
Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation in line with professional and organisational standards.
Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members as required.
Participate in case reviews, supervision, and professional development activities.
Uphold ethical and professional standards consistent with AHPRA and APS guidelines.
Full registration as a Psychologist with AHPRA.
Eligibility to obtain a Medicare Provider Number for psychological services.
Demonstrated experience or strong interest in working with veterans, trauma, or complex mental health presentations.
Access to a private, secure workspace, a reliable computer, and stable internet suitable for tele-health delivery.
Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build rapport with diverse clients.
Commitment to evidence‑based practice and ongoing professional development.
Experience working with PTSD, adjustment disorders, chronic pain, or co‑occurring mental health conditions.
Prior experience with tele-health service delivery.
Familiarity with DVA, Open Arms, or similar veteran‑focused services.
This is a hybrid position, open to applicants anywhere in Australia.
1/2 days per week, with the potential to increase days depending on service demand and clinician preference.
