Due to continued growth across our service operations, we are seeking a qualified Light Vehicle Technician / Mechanic to join our workshop team.

As a Light Vehicle Technician / Mechanic, you will be responsible for carrying out high-quality servicing, diagnostics and repairs across a wide range of passenger and light commercial vehicles.

You will work as part of a busy, structured workshop team with a strong focus on safety, quality workmanship, productivity and customer satisfaction. Salary is based on experience; compensation package negotiable.

• Carrying out scheduled servicing and general mechanical repairs

• Diagnosing mechanical, electrical and vehicle system faults

• Completing repairs in line with manufacturer specifications and workshop procedures

• Following manufacturer warranty, repair and documentation requirements

• Inspecting, repairing and replacing worn or faulty parts

• Completing routine maintenance including oil changes, lubrication, adjustments and tune-ups

• Carrying out engine, transmission, steering, suspension, brake and driveline repairs

• Maintaining accurate job notes, reports and repair documentation

• Maintaining high standards of workmanship, safety and workshop cleanliness

• Working with the workshop team to meet productivity and turnaround targets

• Qualified Light Vehicle Technician / Mechanic

• Certificate III in Automotive Mechanical Technology or equivalent

• Minimum 2 years post-apprenticeship experience preferred

• Dealership or manufacturer experience highly regarded, but not essential

• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding ability

• Confident working with both mechanical and electrical systems

• High attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship

• Strong time management and ability to work in a structured workshop environment

• Reliable team player with a positive attitude

• Current open manual driver's licence essential
