About the Opportunity
Lead the day-to-day delivery of essential waste and recycling services that make a real impact in the community. As Team Leader – Waste and Resource Recovery Business Services, you’ll support the coordination of kerbside services by guiding a small, dedicated team and ensuring customer requests, systems, and service programs run smoothly. Working closely with the Coordinator, contractors, and internal teams, this hands-on role focuses on getting the details right—balancing customer service, data, and operational oversight while identifying opportunities to improve how services are delivered across the municipality.
This role is a permanent, full-time Monthly ADO. Remuneration begins at $94.1K to $102.3K (Band 6) plus superannuation.

About You
We’re looking for a proactive and highly organised professional who excels at leading a small team and providing clear, day-to-day direction. You’ll be confident navigating competing priorities, supporting and guiding staff, and acting as a reliable link to the Coordinator to keep operations on track. Supporting the delivery of services within a complex kerbside collection contract, you’ll bring strong attention to detail, the ability to manage contractor relationships, and a clear focus on service performance. A calm, solutions-focused approach and commitment to customer service will see you succeed in this dynamic role.
