Document Control - Maternity Leave Coverage

With a strong pipeline of projects and a focus on safety, quality and innovation, we’re looking for an experienced Project Document Controller to join our team on a 12 month fixed term contract, providing maternity leave coverage.

About the Role As Project Document Controller, you’ll take ownership of the day-to-day document control function across your assigned project, ensuring documentation is managed accurately and efficiently throughout the project lifecycle.

You’ll be responsible for:

• Managing and maintaining project document control systems and processes.
• Registering, tracking, distributing and archiving project documentation.
• Maintaining accurate document registers, revision control and workflows.
• Ensuring documentation meets client, project and company requirements.
• Coordinating documentation between project teams, subcontractors, consultants and other stakeholders.
• Supporting project teams with document retrieval, reporting, audits and compliance activities.
• Ensuring project records are accurately filed, organised and easily accessible.
• Helping project teams maintain strong document control practices and processes.

About You
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and takes pride in getting the detail right.

You’ll ideally have:

• Previous experience as a Project Document Controller within construction, engineering, infrastructure, mining, energy or a similar project environment.
• Experience managing documentation throughout the full project lifecycle.
• A strong understanding of document control processes, systems and best practice.
• Experience with Aconex, TeamBinder or similar document management systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• The ability to manage competing priorities and work to deadlines in a fast-paced project environment.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships across a diverse range of stakeholders.
• A proactive approach and the confidence to take ownership of your work.
