About the role
St John WA holds a contract with the Department of Justice to deliver comprehensive nursing services across multiple correctional facilities throughout the Perth metropolitan region.
The Opportunity
This is a 6-month fixed-term opportunity with potential to extend, working full-time, 40 hours per week on a rotating 12-hour roster covering both day and night shifts.
You’ll work across the newly opened 39-bed Assisted Care Unit (ACU) and Outpatient Clinic, providing care to patients with a range of complex, ongoing and primary healthcare needs. The ACU operates with a 1:4 nurse-to-patient ratio, offering a diverse scope of nursing practice within a supportive clinical environment.
With a high level of autonomy in your practice, you’ll be supported by an experienced clinical team, including a Clinical Manager and onsite Doctor, as well as a broader multidisciplinary healthcare team.
About You
We’re looking for an experienced Registered Nurse who is confident in their clinical judgement, adaptable and able to build professional relationships while maintaining clear boundaries.
