Deputy Principal - Secondary - Mabel Park State High School

Mabel Park State High School is seeking a Deputy Principal to join our Executive Team. About the Role:

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

• Provide strategic leadership by supporting the Principal to develop and implement a shared educational vision that promotes excellence, equity, and high-quality learning outcomes for all students, while deputising for the Principal when required.
• Model ethical and inclusive leadership by upholding the values of the deputy principalship, embedding socially just practices, and fostering a culture of high expectations for student achievement, staff performance, and wellbeing.
• Build a collaborative school community by developing strong partnerships with parents, government agencies, community organisations, industry, and business to enhance educational opportunities and outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement and effective governance by leading future-focused initiatives, engaging in ongoing professional learning, and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation, policies, and departmental priorities.
• Manage resources for organisational success by effectively planning and overseeing human, financial, curriculum, and physical resources to achieve strategic goals and support continuous school improvement.
