About the role:

At Carinity Education – Shalom, we’re committed to providing a supportive and inclusive learning environment where every student can thrive. As a Cook, you will supervise students in food preparation and manage the kitchen, including the preparation of meal plans, education of students in nutrition in support.

This position works under the direction and guidance of the Director of School Campus in developing healthy eating programs for students and provides support to the students in recommendations of health initiatives and nutrition education.

What do you need for the role?

• Demonstrated experience in development of nutrition programs, food preparation, and/or kitchen management within a secondary school environment advantageous
• Willingness to work as a team member, relating to a multi-disciplinary team
• Highly developed verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in a similar role is highly advantageous
• Current Working with Children check (Blue Card)
