Trainee Sales Consultant

Range Ford is seeking a motivated and customer-focused Trainee Sales Consultant to join our high-performing team in Maddington.

This is an excellent opportunity to learn from experienced automotive professionals, receive ongoing training and build a successful sales career with one of Australia’s most recognised vehicle brands. Previous automotive sales experience is not required—we’re looking for the right attitude, strong communication skills and a genuine ambition to succeed.

• Learning the complete vehicle sales process with support from an experienced team

• Building strong relationships with new and existing customers

• Understanding each customer’s needs, preferences and buying criteria

• Providing detailed information and advice across the Ford vehicle range

• Assisting customers with vehicle selection and purchase decisions

• Conducting vehicle presentations, demonstrations and test drives

• Following up customer enquiries, referrals and sales leads

• Developing new business through proactive customer contact

• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of available vehicles, features and benefits

• Completing sales paperwork accurately and efficiently

• Liaising with the Pre-Delivery team to coordinate vehicle handovers

• Ensuring every customer receives an exceptional dealership experience

• Working towards agreed sales targets as your knowledge and experience develop

• A positive, enthusiastic and professional attitude

• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

• A strong customer-service focus

• The confidence to engage with customers from different backgrounds

• Motivation to learn, develop and achieve sales targets

• Strong organisation and follow-up skills

• Sound computer skills and professional email communication

• A current WA driver’s licence

• The ability to drive a manual vehicle

• Previous customer service, hospitality, retail or sales experience will be highly regarded

• A structured introduction to automotive sales
