The Role

We’re currently seeking experienced Mobile Plant Mechanics to join our team at our Naval Base workshop. In this role, you’ll be responsible for the maintenance and repair of a wide range of Caterpillar and Komatsu mobile equipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose, service, and repair Caterpillar and Komatsu equipment

• Conduct on-hire and off-hire inspections of mobile plant and equipment

• Interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics

• Create parts lists using technical manuals

• Perform risk assessments and implement safety controls

• Maintain compliance with HSE policies and procedures

• Keep work areas clean and well-organised

What We’re Looking For

• Australian Trade Qualification – HD/Plant Mechanic

• Proven experience with Caterpillar mobile plant maintenance

• Proficiency with CAT ET and SIS systems

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work unsupervised

• High Risk Work Licenses (LF, WP, CN, DG) – highly regarded

• Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
