About the Role As an Occupational Therapist within our Commonwealth Psychosocial Support (CPS) program, you will play a vital role in supporting people experiencing mental health challenges to access the services and supports they need.
Working closely with Recovery Workers and consumers, you will undertake comprehensive occupational therapy assessments, including Functional Capacity Assessments, to support NDIS applications and planning. You will draw on your clinical expertise to deliver high-quality assessment, reporting and recommendations that help people achieve greater choice, control and independence.

What you'll be doingConduct comprehensive occupational therapy assessments and functional capacity assessments.Prepare high-quality assessment reports and clinical documentation.Work collaboratively with consumers, carers, families and multidisciplinary teams.Provide specialist occupational therapy expertise and recommendations.Support consumers through NDIS access and planning processes.Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.Contribute to a recovery-focused, strengths-based and person-centred service environment.
What you'll bringEssentialTertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy.Current AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist.Experience conducting occupational therapy and functional capacity assessments.Strong report writing and clinical documentation skills.Excellent communication, collaboration and relationship building capabilities.Commitment to recovery-oriented and person-centred practice.Current National Police Clearance.Current WA Driver's Licence and access to a vehicle.Current First Aid Certificate.NDIS Worker Screening Check.You will thrive in this role if you:Believe people are the experts in their own lives.Are passionate about helping individuals access the support they need.Enjoy working autonomously while remaining connected to a collaborative team.Bring compassion, curiosity and professionalism to your practice.Share our commitment to inclusion, dignity and recovery.
This role is part-time working 4 days per week.
