People & Culture Coordinator – Temporary Contract

We are seeking an experienced People & Culture Coordinator to provide hands-on support to a busy People & Culture team during a period of transition.

This is a practical, operational HR role suited to someone who can quickly understand existing processes, pick up work already in progress and provide reliable support across recruitment, onboarding, offboarding, HR systems and day-to-day employee enquiries.

You will work closely with the People & Culture team and play an important role in maintaining continuity while longer-term resourcing arrangements are being finalised.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate recruitment activities including job advertising, candidate review, shortlisting and phone screening.
• Schedule interviews and liaise with candidates and hiring managers.
• Manage recruitment administration, employment documentation, forms and required checks.
• Coordinate new starter onboarding and induction activities.
• Support employee offboarding, including documentation, system notifications and exit processes.
• Maintain accurate employee information and records within the HRIS.
• Assist with HR reporting, system enquiries and maintaining data integrity.
• Monitor People & Culture inboxes and respond to general employee and manager enquiries.
• Escalate more complex matters appropriately.
• Support documentation of existing HR processes and handover activities.
• Assist with broader People & Culture operational priorities and continuous improvement initiatives.

About You You will ideally bring:

• Previous experience in a People & Culture, HR Coordinator or HR Administration position.
• Demonstrated recruitment administration and coordination experience.
• Experience using ELMO would be highly regarded, although experience with another HRIS and the ability to learn systems quickly will also be considered.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail when managing employee records and documentation.
• Confident and professional communication skills.
• A helpful, service-focused approach when dealing with employees, managers and candidates.
• The ability to quickly learn established processes and work effectively with limited supervision.
• Sound judgement and a strong understanding of confidentiality when handling employee information.
• A flexible and practical approach to working in an environment where priorities may change quickly.
