Registered Nurse - Epilepsy

The Epilepsy Centre of SA & NT is a not-for-profit community organisation dedicated to supporting people living with epilepsy and their families in South Australia and the Northern Territory.

If you are an experienced Registered Nurse with an understanding of epilepsy and you are passionate about empowering individuals through education and training, this may be the job for you. This is a one-year contract permanent part-time position (renewable), working three or four+ days per week with an immediate start.

Job tasks and responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing education sessions to families in-house and to staff at schools, kindergartens, childcare centres, workplaces, support workers and community groups. You will have the ability to adapt your training and presentation style to accommodate different audiences and needs.

The ability and flexibility to work outside the metropolitan area, intrastate and out of hours is a requirement.

 Skills and Experience

• Current registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA required

• Cert IV in Training and Assessment

• Current First Aid Certificate

• Own reliable car required

• Current National Police and Working with Children checks

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
