About this opportunity
Reporting to the National Human Resource Manager, this is an exciting opportunity for a confident, resilient and people-oriented professional to join the HR team in our North Sydney Head Office. This is a full time, 5-day on-site permanent position.
Your key responsibilities include but not limited to:
People and Culture -
Act as the first point of contact for general HR enquires/matters
Provide day-to-day HR advice and support to managers and employees
Review and update HR policies, procedures, employee handbook and other relevant documentation.
Manage the employee lifecycle including the development of job descriptions, talent acquisition, onboarding and offboarding
Assist with performance management and employee development initiatives
Champion culture and employee engagement/relations activities and social/people and culture events
Maintain accurate HR records and documentation, including the initial migration of HR records into digital format
Assist with Work Health and Safety including worker’s compensation
Support HR projects and organisational change initiatives
Other ad-hoc HR initiatives and projects
Business Administration -
Assist the National HR Manager in global projects and submit various monthly reports
Involve in business and office resources sourcing and ongoing reviewing of office supplies vendors/office leasing
Other relevant office admin tasks
About you

To be successful in this role you must:
Must have permanent full working rights in Australia
Tertiary qualification in HR, Business, or related field
Minimum 5 years’ relevant experience in a senior HR generalist role in Australia
Have in-depth knowledge and understanding of ANZ industrial relations legislations
Proven ability to manage change in a complex and diverse culture multi-national organisations
Strong organisational skills with high attention to detail
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight timeframes
Ability to adapt to an ever-changing industry and champion change
