Videography Intern

About The RoleWe’re on the lookout for a Videography Intern to join Founders Edge - one of Australia’s fastest-growing startup communities.You’ll play a hands-on role in capturing the people, stories and energy of Australia’s startup ecosystem. From filming founder events and interviewing investors to creating short-form content for LinkedIn and Instagram, you’ll help bring the Founders Edge brand to life through your lens.What makes this role special is where we sit in the ecosystem. Founders Edge operates right in the middle - bringing together founders, investors, operators and partners. You’ll have front-row access to the people and companies shaping Australia’s startup scene, and the opportunity to build a portfolio of real-world content as well as a platform to build out your own personal brand and and private work.It’s a unique chance to build meaningful connections, gain visibility across the sector, and open doors that can lead directly to future roles (Our last intern was snapped up in 3 months). While the position is currently unpaid, there may be potential for it to evolve into a paid opportunity, and the exposure you’ll gain here will be unparalleled.
What you’ll doFilm and capture content at Founders Edge eventsEdit short-form video for LinkedIn, Instagram and other platformsInterview founders, investors, speakers and ecosystem leadersCreate Reels, Shorts and other social-first video contentHelp develop creative concepts and new video formatsCapture behind-the-scenes moments, founder stories and event highlightsTurn long-form event footage into engaging short-form contentAssist with photography and other visual content where neededSupport event marketing and promotional campaignsTrack content performance and help identify what resonates with our audience(We'd also like to support you on your journey.
