About the role

Josie's Bright Beginnings, a leading childcare provider in Hillside, Northwest of Melbourne, is seeking passionate and experienced Educators to join our team on a full-time/ part-time/ casual basis. As an Educator, you will play a vital role in shaping the lives of young children, providing a nurturing and engaging learning environment that supports their social, emotional, and cognitive development.

What you'll be doing

• Implementing engaging and age-appropriate educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework & NQF

• Fostering a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment for children to learn and explore

• Observing and documenting children's progress, contributing to ongoing assessment and planning

• Building strong relationships with families, ensuring open communication and collaborative partnerships

• Adhering to all relevant childcare regulations, policies, and procedures

• Actively participating in team meetings, professional development, and continuous improvement initiatives

What we're looking for

• Experienced and Qualified ECT, and Senior Educators

• Diploma or Degree Qualification in Early Childhood Education & Care or a related field

• Minimum of 2 years' experience working as an Educator in a childcare

• Strong understanding of child development and the ability to cater to the unique needs of each child

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues

• Demonstrated commitment to creating inclusive and engaging learning environments

• Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to respond to the changing needs of children and the service

• A valid Working with Children Check, Child Safety and Child Protection Training, etc
