Exmouth Panel and Paint is a small, family‑run workshop in the beautiful North West of Australia. With one of our long‑standing team members finishing up at the end of the year, we’re looking for a skilled tradesperson to step into a stable, long‑term role within our close‑knit crew.
We’re a reputable workshop with a strong flow of insurance, private, and fleet work, and we’re seeking someone who delivers quality workmanship, manages their time well, and wants a dependable role supported by an unbeatable coastal lifestyle.

About the Role

• Structural and cosmetic panel repairs

• Dent removal, pulling, welding, and metal finishing

• Disassembly and reassembly of vehicle components

• Preparing vehicles for paint (sanding, masking, priming)

• Quality control to ensure repairs meet industry and insurer standards

• Basic hand and air tool skills — highly regarded

• Surface preparation, priming, sanding, and sealing

• Colour matching and mixing using modern paint systems

• Applying basecoat, clearcoat, and specialised finishes

• Operating in a clean, professional spray booth

• Polishing, buffing, and final refinishing

• Maintaining equipment and ensuring booth cleanliness

• Quality control to deliver high‑standard finishes

Who We’re Looking For

• Trade‑qualified Panel Beater and/or Spray Painter

• Reliable, punctual, with strong time‑management skills and pride in workmanship

• Able to work independently and within a small team

• Able to follow specific work instructions

• Positive attitude and good communication skills

• Strong commitment to workplace safety

• High regard for cleanliness — including washing customer vehicles prior to collection

• Open to relocating — we can help make the transition easy
