Forklift Operator

Ozpak is looking for a reliable and safety-focused Forklift Operator to join our Warehouse & Logistics team.

This role is responsible for the safe and efficient movement of incoming goods, finished products and dispatch orders, helping ensure our warehouse operations run smoothly and accurately.

The Role

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, you will play an important role in our day-to-day warehouse operations, including:

• Operating forklifts safely and efficiently across the warehouse.

• Unloading incoming goods.

• Storing and locating finished goods accurately within the warehouse.

• Preparing finished goods for dispatch and completing pick lists.

• Loading outgoing goods and checking orders against consignment documentation.

• Identifying and reporting discrepancies, damaged or faulty goods.

• Ensuring FIFO (First In, First Out) principles are followed.

• Maintaining high standards of warehouse housekeeping and organisation.

• Reporting forklift defects and ensuring equipment is tagged out when required.

• Following Chain of Responsibility (CoR), OHS, HACCP, BRC, SMETA and company requirements.

• Assisting across warehouse operations as required.

About You

We are looking for someone who is:

• Experienced in forklift and warehouse operations.

• A current and appropriately licensed forklift operator.

• Safety-conscious and committed to following procedures.

• Reliable, organised and able to work effectively as part of a team.

• Physically capable of working in a busy warehouse environment.

• Detail-oriented, particularly when checking goods and documentation.

• Willing to contribute across different areas of the warehouse when required.

Experience in FMCG, wine, beverage or manufacturing environments will be highly regarded.
