About the Opportunity
As a paediatric occupational therapist working at KEO Care you'll be supporting children in their own environments such as home, school, kinder or maybe their local playground. You'll be responsible for providing support to children and their families/primary carers to optimise their child’s development. You will be working along side a supportive and connected multidisciplinary team providing assessment, intervention, and recommendations to support children with a range of developmental and learning disorders.
Your role includes the following:
Assisting children with a variety of diagnoses and challenges
Delivering therapy in children's homes, educational settings or in the community
Working closely with children, their family and supports to deliver evidence-based therapies and support them to achieve their developmental milestones
Complete comprehensive assessments and produce quality reports for submission to funding bodies like NDIS
Time set aside each week to focus on your own learning and development
Attend team huddles, clinical support huddles, discipline specific and multidisciplinary case conferences
Celebrate wins with your participants, families, colleagues and your team
