Edge Protection Installer & Civil works

About the role

Huglo Solar is seeking a skilled and experienced Edge Protection Installer to join our growing team in Canberra, ACT. As an Edge Protection Installer, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently installing edge protection systems on roofs and other elevated structures, ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety. This is a full-time position, offering competitive remuneration and the opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative company at the forefront of the renewable energy industry.

What you'll be doing

1. Measuring and installing edge protection systems on mostly residential roofs

2. Collaborating with the project team to ensure seamless installation processes

3. Maintaining a safe and tidy work environment, adhering to all relevant health and safety regulations

4. Providing feedback and suggestions for improving installation procedures and techniques

5. Assisting with other general tasks such as trenching, landscaping and labour tasks

What we're looking for

1. Proven experience as an Edge Protection Installer or similar role in the construction or trades industry (scaffolding ticket preferred)

2. Eagerness to promote a safe workplace culture

3. Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work independently

4. The ability to work effectively as part of a team

5. A valid driver's licence and the ability to work autonomously when required
