The Position:

Service Technician

We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic Service Technician to join our team.

This full-time role will be based in our Head Office in Mitcham which services customers across Australia within the Public and Private healthcare industry

 Key Accountabilities include:

• Repair, test and calibration of medical devices in a workshop environment

• Test and evaluate incoming products

• Provide Technical support for Sales staff and external customers including Biomedical Departments in relation to technical components and fault-finding procedures

• Delivery of capital equipment for trial to Biomedical Departments in local hospitals as required

• Arrange RA’s for faulty equipment to suppliers / manufactures for both warranty and out of warranty repairs.

 To be successful in this role it is essential that you have:

• Direct experience is not necessary as full training is provided, however must have demonstrated technical / mechanical experience

• Electronics industry experience is an advantage

• Willingness to learn new skills

• Work Autonomously or in a team

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Help build relationships with customers

• Hands on approach for service repairs and deliveries

• Technically minded / good problem solver

• Strong work ethic

• Current Australian driver’s licence.
