BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT - BDS MECHANICAL REPAIRS AUS

We’re seeking a driven and experienced Business Development professional to join our team on a full-time basis, servicing the Bowen Basin and Central Queensland. In this role, you’ll be responsible for identifying and developing new business opportunities across the automotive, heavy transport and mining industries, while building strong, long-term customer relationships. Regular regional travel will be required, making this an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys being out in the field and growing a strong customer network.

BDS Mechanical Repairs Aus is a leading provider of mechanical, auto-electrical, and welding services across Queensland and Western Australia. With a fleet of more than 160 mobile service units, we deliver reliable on-site and workshop solutions across an extensive service area spanning more than 600,000 km².

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop new business opportunities for our workshops, parts sales and our field service technicians (road transport and mining industries)

• Use specialist knowledge to interpret customer requirements via phone or in person

• Provide effective and efficient customer service and product advice

• Creating and maintaining strong customer relations

• Execute and influence the company's long-term growth strategy and goals.

REQUIREMENTS

• Knowledge of and experience with mining, truck, trailer and automotive products and services

• Very good communication skills

• Excellent customer service and sales skills

• Excellent telephone manner

• Must be willing to travel and for extended periods of time.

• Experience in a similar role

• Unrestricted drivers license
